Every job starts with a site survey, because a frontage measured off a photograph is a frontage that arrives wrong. We take the opening dimensions, check the lintel and the floor level, and confirm what the existing structure will carry before anything is ordered.
Tell us the address and roughly what you need and a surveyor will come out at a time that suits the business.
For a like-for-like replacement, usually not. You will need consent for a listed building, in a conservation area, or where you change the appearance of the frontage or add illuminated signage. We can tell you which applies at survey, though the application itself is between you and the council.
Yes. Overnight and closed-day installation is normal for units that cannot lose a trading day, and the premises are left secure at every stage of the work.
Yes. Shopfront glass must be toughened or laminated and kitemarked in a critical location, so panes are ordered to the surveyed size — which means a same-day swap is rarely possible on anything large. Boarding secures the opening in the meantime.
Any RAL colour on aluminium and steel. Anthracite grey (RAL 7016) and black (RAL 9005) are the most common on high-street units, but the powder coater will match whatever your brand standard specifies.
On a parade where the landlord requires a consistent frontage, we work from the same section profiles and colour reference so the new unit reads as part of the row.
